  • Fixed a delay that occurred when accessing case details.
  • Fixed a bug on the case details page where memos couldn’t be copied.

Medit Scan for Clinics v1.13.3

Improvements

  • Improved usability for the i900 classic
    • Update the firmware when you connect the scanner to access the enhanced usability.
    • You can now control scan data more easily by enabling the “Use Scanner as a Cursor” option in Settings. Use the handpiece to move, rotate, and zoom in or out.
    • Hold down the scan button and move the scanner to perform any selected action or use a feature.
    • The cursor is automatically centered on a button icon when it is moved over it on the screen.
    • Note that some features such as “HD Camera” may restrict the use of scanner as a cursor.
  • Support for the new series of graphics cards
    • Optimized performance is now also provided on computers equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards.
    • If a graphics driver older than the minimum requirement (v572.83 in the NVIDIA App) is installed, the driver will be automatically updated when updating Medit Link.
    • The update may take some time depending on your PC and network environment.
  • Enhanced data protection
    • The auto-recovery option is now enabled by default to help minimize data loss in the event of unexpected issues.
    • The data-saving process has been optimized, significantly reducing the time it takes to save data.
  • Improved “Glossy” option in Data Display Mode
    • Enhanced the data display to appear more natural based on user feedback.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an occasional issue where data was not acquired when the scan tip was reattached or when scanning options, such as “High Resolution Scan,” were changed.
  • Fixed an occasional issue where a firmware update notification appeared or the firmware update failed when connecting the i700, i700 wireless, or i600 scanner.
  • Fixed an occasional issue where data processing failed when handling cases that used the Mandibular Movement feature.
  • Fixed an occasional issue where data scanned entirely with “High Resolution Scan” was partially lost when reopening the case.
  • Fixed an occasional issue where registering a new color to “Smart Color Filtering” would affect previously saved colors.
  • Fixed an occasional issue where using “Undo” after scanning an impression removed more data than expected.
  • Fixed an issue where the impression scan data that was completely removed using the Trimming tool would reappear after optimization.
  • Fixed an issue where the status of previously downloaded libraries was incorrectly displayed in the Scan Body Library dialog window.
  • Fixed an issue where a fail message appeared every time the User Guide was opened.

Medit Scan for Labs v1.8.3

Improvements

  • Added a new option in Settings to switch the data display format – Surface Smoothing.
    • This option is enabled by default and displays data with smoother surfaces. However, it may affect performance on lower-spec computers. In such cases, you can turn it off.
    • When disabled, data will be shown the same way as in Medit Scan for Labs v1.7.6 and earlier.
  • Improved the alignment algorithm to increase the success rate of automatic alignment in cases such as wax-up bridges.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where library data wouldn’t appear in exocad after being merged with the arch using the Scan Body Library Matching feature.
  • Fixed an issue where the back of the scan data sometimes appeared black after being assigned in the Assign Data dialog window.
  • Fixed an issue where a fail message appeared every time the User Guide was opened.
