Medit, a pioneer in digital dentistry, is leading the education on intraoral scanners in Korea.
Medit, an intraoral scanner manufacturer located in Seoul, is hosting a series of educational events called “Skill Up” seminars. These seminars aim to enhance understanding of intraoral scanner usage and foster communication between clinics and dental laboratories in the domestic market, which has garnered significant attention within the industry.
In the ‘Skill Up’ seminars, customers will have hands-on training courses guided by Medit product specialists. Additionally, invited speakers will share various insights, including patient consultation tips and digital dentistry techniques.
Since October 2023, the seminars have been held regularly and quickly expanded nationwide. In May, they reached Daegu for the first time, moving beyond the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas and inviting more participants from across the country.
This wider reach has proven beneficial, as dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians find these seminars valuable for learning and discussion, allowing them to engage in the entire process of using intraoral scanners together.
Moreover, a Medit product specialist mentioned, “Even after the Skill Up seminars, Medit continues to maintain consistent communication through the Kakao channel to ensure that users can continue to use the scanners effectively.”
Each time a seminar is announced, it receives high interest in the market. Moreover, the seminar topics cover a variety of areas, including beginner courses, long-term user courses to address scanning errors and issues, and courses focused on orthodontic treatment.
