After the successful launch of the first Skill-Up Seminar for Japanese users in Tokyo last December, Medit hosted two more seminars in Tokyo and Osaka on February 23rd and 24th, 2025. The events brought together dental professionals eager to learn how to better utilize Medit intraoral scanners in their practices.
Dr. Anzai Satoshi, Medit’s Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and Director of Saito Dental Office, led the seminars, providing insightful training and hands-on sessions.
The seminars covered key topics, including a refresher on the fundamentals of intraoral scanners, troubleshooting common issues, and reviewing scholarly articles on the reliability of scanners. Participants also learned various scanning techniques, best practices for non-metal restorations (including hybrid resin inlays), and the effective use of Medit scanners for implant planning and prosthetic design.
One of the key highlights was the practical session where attendees explored Medit Link, a vital tool for streamlining the workflow from scanning to order submission. Interactive demonstrations showed how to integrate Medit’s digital tools into daily routines for improved efficiency. The seminars concluded with discussions on how adopting Medit’s digital solutions can enhance clinic productivity and offer economic benefits by reducing costs associated with traditional dental procedures.
The enthusiasm and commitment shown by the participants were truly inspiring. These seminars mark the beginning of Medit’s expansion plans, with future Skill-Up Seminars set to reach more regions, helping users further enhance their skills with Medit scanners.
