Medit Highlights Digital Dentistry at ICD Indonesia 2025

Medit recently joined the inaugural ICD Indonesia Annual Meeting in Bali, where global dental experts and local clinicians gathered to explore the future of digital dentistry.

As part of the “Yonsei Prosth Global Tour: Yonsei-MeDiF Hands-on Workshop,” professors from Yonsei University’s Department of Prosthodontics led an intensive training program. In collaboration with Osstem Implant Indonesia, the program began with an implant hands-on course, after which participants used the Medit i600 and i700 intraoral scanners to capture scans of the completed implant models.

Through this process, clinicians were able to experience the complete digital workflow for implant prosthesis fabrication—from implant placement to digital scanning and final restoration design. The sessions combined lectures and practical exercises, offering participants valuable firsthand experience in applying digital tools to clinical workflows. Many clinicians who were new to intraoral scanning expressed strong interest in how these devices could enhance both clinical outcomes and patient experience.

This collaboration marks an important step for Medit in enabling the adoption of digital dentistry in Southeast Asia. By partnering with academic leaders and engaging directly with clinicians, Medit continues to share its vision of accessible, reliable, and innovative digital solutions for dental professionals worldwide.

Medit remains committed to empowering dental practitioners across global markets with cutting-edge tools and education that advance patient care and the future of dentistry.
