⚠️ Read Before Updating Medit Link
- The updating process may take some time as it involves work to enhance system stability. We recommend performing the update during your leisure time to minimize disruption.
Improvements
- App Box UI/UX
- Upgraded UI/UX to highlight key features and information of the apps.
- You can select multiple apps at once to install or update sequentially.

- Improved to provide easy management of downloaded apps in the “Downloaded” tab.
- The three apps that were temporarily restricted from downloading during the App Box reorganization are now available again.
- You can now download the following apps:

- Medit Ortho Simulation
- Medit Occlusion Analyzer
- Please note that the rollout of the three apps in South Korea is still underway. The release date for South Korea will be announced later.

- You can change the order of installed apps in the Quick Launcher.

- Member Account Permissions
- Expanded permissions for clinic member accounts, so now they can place or cancel orders.
- Expanded permissions for lab member accounts, so now they can accept or reject orders.
- Standard/Premium Benefits
- The newly added Standard/Premium Benefits section on the Membership menu offers users access to free trials and discounts on a variety of dental solutions from Medit partners. (This feature is initially available to users in the US and Europe.)
- Chatbot
- Added a chatbot to the Medit Link app and web to help users find relevant content they need while using Medit Link.
- DentalDB Integration App
- An integration app has been released on the App Box to open Medit Scan for Labs from DentalDB. For users who previously used the “Connect to Medit Scan for Labs in DentalDB” option in Settings > Set Connected Program, please install the new DentalDB Integration app from the App Box.
- DentalCAD Integration App
- An integration app has been released to connect Medit Link with DentalCAD. For users who previously used the CAD tab to link with DentalCAD, please install the new DentalCAD Integration app from the App Box.
- New Languages
- Added Vietnamese and Thai to the program language settings.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where memos are not fully displayed when exporting case information to PDF.
- Fixed an issue where files could not be deleted from Storage Management.

- Enhanced Scanning Experience
- Improved alignment algorithms to reduce alignment time during library alignment.
- Added an option to choose the zoom magnification and an option to automatically adjust the zoom magnification.
- Simple UI with Expanded Functionality
- The following stages and features are now available in Simple Interface to improve usability.

- Feature: Smart Color Filtering, Abutment Library Matching, Scan Body Library Matching, Multi Occlusion, Mandibular Movement, etc.

- Cross-functional Experience for Tooth Selections
- The information on tooth areas selected in “Margin Line” and “Smart Scan Review” is shared between features to provide a seamless experience.
- If a margin line is drawn, the selected areas of teeth with a margin can be processed at a higher resolution when the following option is on:
- Settings > Post-Processing > Apply to Prepared Teeth Data (Beta)
- Reduced optimization time when the number of acquired scan images is significant.
- Improved Smart Arrows in Smart Scan Review to provide better guidance on the areas that require additional scanning.
- Added the “Move to Previous Stage” option in Settings > Scanner > Scan Button Actions.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where too many Smart Arrows were displayed after data was acquired by Smart Stitching.
- Fixed an issue where scan data acquisition would be slow when scanning with deviation turned on in Abutment Library Matching and Scan Body Library Matching.
- Fixed an issue where a brush of a different size than the one selected by the user was applied.
