Bringing Korean Digital Dentistry to Mongolia: Medit’s Impact

Medit recently held an “Education and Training Program on Domestic Medical Devices for Mongolian Dentists” in collaboration with Yonsei University Dental Hospital and the Medical Device Industry Promotion Foundation (MeDiF). This initiative aligns with Medit’s commitment to promoting the excellence of Korean medical devices globally, while fostering the international adoption of digital dentistry.

The program included a series of specialized lectures and practical workshops designed to share the latest advances in digital dentistry. Professors from Yonsei University Dental Hospital introduced Mongolian dental professionals to recent advanced dentistry trends, techniques, and knowledge in the field. Medit’s product specialists led hands-on sessions where participants gained direct experience with Medit’s intraoral scanners. These practical workshops allowed the visiting dentists to scan implant models, utilize Medit Link, and see firsthand how digitalized scanning can enhance clinical precision and workflow efficiency.

By participating in these sessions, Mongolian dentists gained valuable insights of Medit’s intraoral scanners. This experience not only deepened their understanding of the technology but also fostered trust and enthusiasm for integrating it into their practice.

Reflecting on the success of the program, a Medit representative stated, “It was inspiring to see Mongolian dental professionals come to Korea, engage with university hospital professors, and practice intraoral scanning techniques. This program highlights the growing international recognition of Korean digital dentistry, and we are excited to continue leading initiatives that expand the reach of our advanced dental technologies.” Medit plans to offer similar educational opportunities in the future, reinforcing its dedication to advancing digital dentistry worldwide.
